A Slovak trade delegation is discussing developing ways of economic cooperation in the Asharqia Chamber

On Wednesday, May 24, 2023, Asharqia Chamber organized a meeting with the Slovak trade delegation, in the presence of the Chamber's Chairman, Badr bin Suleiman Al-Ruzaizah, and His Excellency the Slovak Ambassador.

Al-Ruzaiza said during the meeting, which was attended by the Second Vice-President Hamad bin Muhammad Al-Ammar Al-Khaldi, the Secretary-General Abdul Rahman bin Abdullah Al-Wabel, and the Director of International Trade at the Slovak Trade and Investment Agency, Egon Zorad, that the economic relations between the Kingdom and the Slovak Republic, with the opening of the headquarters of the Slovak Embassy in Riyadh, enter a new phase of development. stages of its growth and development, and emphasizes the interest and mutual endeavors of the leadership of the two countries to develop economic, tourism, investment, and trade relations, for economic relations between the two countries to take an important position on the map of the global economy, and for the coming periods to witness significant development and promising investment opportunities that open the way for the private sector of the two countries through partnerships good investment in various fields.​​

​Al-Ruzaiza explained that the meeting aims to develop economic relations between the two countries, work to open paths of communication and investment partnerships with businessmen in the eastern region, and expand trade and investment channels to meet the aspirations of businessmen in the two countries, urging businessmen to identify investment opportunities and joint areas of cooperation towards strengthening areas of cooperation. Tourism, food, technology, pharmaceutical industries, building and construction, and other fields, and the steps the Kingdom is taking to achieve the goals of Vision 2030 by diversifying the base of the national economy.​
